Refund policy

We want you and your pet to be happy with your order. If something isn't right, here's how we'll fix it.

14-day window

You have 14 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return or refund.

To start, email support@cobaltpaws.com with your order number and the reason. Please don't send anything back before you hear from us. Items mailed back without approval, or to the wrong address, may not be refunded.

Damaged, defective, or wrong item

If your item arrives damaged, doesn't work, or isn't what you ordered:

Email us within 14 days of delivery with your order number.
Include a clear photo of the item (and the packaging, if it's damaged).
We'll send a free replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer. In most cases, you won't need to send the item back.

If we do need it back, we'll cover the return shipping.

Changed your mind

You can return an item you no longer want if it's unused, clean, and in its original packaging.

Return shipping is paid by you, and we'll send you the return address once your request is approved.
For items under $20, we may simply refund you and let you keep or donate the item instead of shipping it back.
For hygiene reasons, grooming tools that have been used on a pet can't be returned for a change of mind. This doesn't affect damaged, defective, or wrong items.

Return address: we'll email you the return address once your request is approved (please don't ship anything back before then).

Cancelling an order

You can cancel for a full refund until your order ships. Email us as soon as you can. Once an order has shipped, it's handled as a return under this policy.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get a different item is to request a refund and place a new order.

Your refund

Once we approve your refund (or receive your return, if one is needed), we'll process it within 3–5 business days to your original payment method.
Your bank or card issuer may take another 5–10 business days to post it.
If you haven't seen your refund after that, email support@cobaltpaws.com and we'll check on it.
